I could go super fast on that one! Jealous!

Well done, Andy.

I believe you’ve achieved your aim. Very clean. Very nice. There’s a real clean beauty about this bike which isn’t shouting it out with any abnoxious vigour.

I would probably throw on some DeepV wheels, but that is probably where I would wreck what you have achieved so softly.

Pity it’s too cold for you to be riding it over there in Canada. Today, here in Sydney it’s about 24 degrees celsius with a light fragrant summer breeze. I’m going riding. That’s me being jealous.

This is beautiful. I am thinking my next build will be a coaster brake single speed, but how do you feel about having no backup brakes? I have read that it’s dangerous and in the event of a chain breakage you may be screwed. Thoughts?

Thanks for the compliments on the bike -

@Dripper wouldn’t mind riding in some sunshine for once, it’s warm enough to ride in Vancouver right now, just way too wet!

@Andy I think I’m ok without the backup brake, just going to regularly keep an eye on the chain and make sure to switch it up a couple times a year. Coming from a brakeless bmx background I am thinking it shouldn’t be too bad. ps - I just clicked your portfolio and realized I’ve seen your work all around the net before, good stuff!

Great job! I love it!
Owning a coaster brake by my self, and absolutely love it.

Where did you get the rubber loop for your frame to hold the coaster arm?

@roman I just picked it up at a local shop

Wow, that is a beauty!

How much do you need to spend to build something like that?
