About this bike
Old School mountain bike, fully rigid, touring setup, however it hasn´t had a big trip yet. Until now, commuting only. Budget specs but well choosen. Rare old school scott handle bar with bar tape. I´ve bought the frame new!!!! yes, you still can found it here.
What a rare find to get hold of a unused frame like that. It must be 15 years old?
Diggin it!! Not sure about the straps tho:)
It´s a 1998 frame, I think it was the last year of karakoram, only black or red. Not sure if the tubes are Reynolds like in previous years (because it has no decals about). You still can find karakoram and outpost frames here but only in 16”, this was the last 18” from a former GT importer that now works with Felt and Jamis.
By the way, thanks a lot for posting it.
Me too about the starps, the next time both will have the colors of the frame or black.
