Handmade in the USA by (now defunct) Aegis Racing Bicycles. After touring their factory, I fell in love with the look of the raw unfinished carbon fiber. The idea of creating a whole line of raw carbon bikes was proposed but never went anywhere.
I kept this as payment for some photography work and its been cherished ever since.

The menacing attitude and sophistication of this bicycle is all well and good, and on this fine and beautifully crafted website worthy of more than a passing admiration. However, just like the USA’s brand of military stealth aircraft in the visible sky, it is unlikely many of us will ever see this distinctly delicate bicycle on the chattering streets of our towns and cities.
As such, I can only conclude - after long consideration - that this bicycle will remain the “prototype” it is described as, and whilst beautiful to look at and admire longingly, it will essentially remain a failure for further stage development on our conjested and decrepit big-city streets; and therefore also at our kind of ‘Fixie’ market.
Though please don’t misunderstand me, for on the issue of build-concept it is a bicycle of the highest order and deserving all-ascribed stars.
