– Colnago C50 frame, 57cm
– Record QS Ultra [limited pro edition] groupset
– Prologo Scratch Pro T1.4 saddle
– 3T Rotundo Team Carbon bars
– Mavic SSC Paris Roubaix 36h rims (mid 80s) on ‘08 Record hubs
– Vittoria Corsa CG Ultra P-R rubs (early 90s)
– Fulcrum Speed wheels
In a fire I’d tuck my son under one arm, and this bike under the other. Two wheelsets to show how a C50 pulls off both racing and heritage looks. The frame and Mavic rims starred in the ‘08 Rapha Swiss Alps Autumn/Winter shoot (http://www.rapha.cc/rapha-rides-the-swiss-alps). Also, both frame and groupset were second hand eBay finds - it’s worth being patient to avoid full retail price.

5Beautiful~!
I have a same frame.
Some body knows what is that seat post?
I’m finding 28mm size zero back seat post !!
thank you for making this COLNAGO looks so rad and not convert it into a fixie scene…
It is amazing how the heritage is so present with the low profile mavics fitted.
the swiss alps ride is a bit like a dream and ben always tells such great stories with his images. definitely one of his better collections.
The Paris Roubaixs look great on it - maybe its the gumwalls - but its nice to see a modern bike look like so classic.
We feel honered to have a Rapha model on the site ;)
