@Dripper wouldn’t mind riding in some sunshine for once, it’s warm enough to ride in Vancouver right now, just way too wet!
@Andy I think I’m ok without the backup brake, just going to regularly keep an eye on the chain and make sure to switch it up a couple times a year. Coming from a brakeless bmx background I am thinking it shouldn’t be too bad. ps - I just clicked your portfolio and realized I’ve seen your work all around the net before, good stuff!
This is beautiful. I am thinking my next build will be a coaster brake single speed, but how do you feel about having no backup brakes? I have read that it’s dangerous and in the event of a chain breakage you may be screwed. Thoughts?
