This Icarus was made for the track. When I first started talking to Ian, I told him that I wanted it stiff. With a mix of standard and oversized tubing, to the lowered seat stays, this bike is meant to be ridden fast and It knows it.

Heya folks,
Lucky for me, my shop is in a big warehouse and one of the other occupants is a photographer so I have started to have him take nice shots when local riders get them built up.
The joints are all fillet brazed. A classic technique that gives an ultra smooth finish to the joints without the restriction of lug angles or sizes.

These Icarus frames are beautiful! The welds and radiused joints are enough of a reason to drool.
Congrats!
Awesome indeed. Did you hire a studio for these shots??? The bar for boutique bike shots is being raised towards the roof .. ;)
Awesome
